Christopher Louis Surdi and Meliza Joie Solan Surdi
Meliza and I met in 2009 and married in October of 2010. We spent many months getting to know each other but there was always the feeling "when you know, you know." Meeting your soul mate and the perfect match for you is truly a unique experience that certainly makes us feel like part of "the lucky ones." Both of our lives were filled with travel, re-location, and constant searching for something more, something bigger. As both of us came from the East Coast, we independently made our way to the West Coast and eventually met in San Francisco. From the first time I met Meliza, I knew she was going to be my wife and so did everyone else; including her. It was amazing to "do the dance," experience all the fun of dating and courting. Late night clubbing, early morning breakfast, and everything in between. Then, getting engaged, walking down the aisle together to become one and officially become "Surdified". Married life has been an incredible journey thus far and they say life is a marathon, so make sure the partner you choose is a distance runner like yourself!
My wife and I wasted no time and got pregnant shortly after getting married. Our son - Truson Michael Louis Surdi - was born on November 12th, 2011 at 10:25pm. The gift of life far exceeds any worldly passion and I can't image a life without his joy and light. His energy and excitement is matched by his enthusiasm and curiosity. He is affectionately referred to as "little man" by family and friends. I look forward to raising him to be a leader and a man.
The Kai Guy
Another gift has been delivered to our family! On May 7th, 2014, Kaison Brave Christopher Surdi came into the world at 3:20am in Oakland, Ca. It was a perfect delivery and he came out a perfect baby, thank God. In stellar health with all his fingers, toes and plenty of hair on his head. He weighed 6 lbs 4 oz and was 19.5 inches long. My wife and I are so honored and blessed to have another baby boy to raise to manhood. Let the brotherly love (fighting) begin!
Blue Eyes Crimson
On June 25th, 2018 our miracle child Crimson Lucille Esperanza Surdi was born in Manhattan at 1:20pm. She was born with marble blue eyes and my wife finally got a child that actually looks like her. As she has my wife's beauty it's such a blessing she'll have two big brothers to look after and protect her.....she's gonna need it! Then again, considering she was born in NYC I suspect she'll have that east coast toughness in her!
